This site was developed with the cooperation of The Valerie Upham Team to provide visitors with one convenient location to find a wealth of information concerning University City. Today, University City offers an astonishing variety of attractions and activities to enjoy. It is located in the area of the city that is bounded by three freeways: Interstate 5, Interstate 805, and California State Highway 52. These freeways form a triangular border around the region, hence the area is often referred to as "the Golden Triangle".

How To Use This Site

The goal of the website ConnectingUC.com is to be a user-friendly local community website offering convenient needed information and services to the homeowners in University City. Among the information on the website will be local high school's calendars including all their sports schedules (watch for the Principal's Corner in our monthly newsletter). In addition an extended calendar of events covering the local community will be updated weekly.

We are developing a Community Blog for all desiring to participate. Discuss local issues, debate national politics, or just blow off some steam if you wish. There will be ongoing fun contests (see "Contest" button at top) that will allow you to win various gift certificates to Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Sports Authority, and various local restaurants.

In addition, you will be able to email us any advertisement for a car for sale, furniture or other personal items for sale, or if you are running a garage sale. This service is FREE. As in no charge of any kind.

Browse our website and make any suggestions to add to it. If you have an article of local interest, submit it to us at valerieupham@century21.com and we will post it on the website. We may even print it in our newsletter, with your permission.
